Hoggle

Hoggle is the first being to befriend Sarah as she begins her journey through the Labyrinth. He is a dwarf whose job is to kill the faeries (faeries bite and are mean in this Labyrinth) outside the gates to the Labyrinth. He is deathly afraid of Jareth, the Goblin King, and so throughout the course of the movie tends to do whatever Jareth asks him to do to Sarah, including giving her a poisoned peach to put her to sleep. However, at the end, his conscience wins out, and he helps Sarah to reach the castle. Hoggle is played primarily by SHARI WEISER, with his facial movements and voice done by BRIAN HENSON.
